Design Concept
Infobox* is conceived as a sculptural piece with a dynamic twisted half-cube and a sleek inverted pyramid attached to it. By placing the twisted half-cube at an oblique angle to Great George Street, the Infobox* becomes a natural three-dimensional billboard with maximum surface area (potential advertisement opportunities) greeting passing vehicles. The attached inverted pyramid will face the ends of the two main access paths to mark the pedestrian vista.

Spatial Planning
Users will enter a naturally lit open space and greeted with a scale model of the development. They are then led on a meandering ‘journey’ through the Infobox*, to the first-floor open sales area with private meeting rooms adjacent to it for further consultation. Interested buyers are then led to our second-floor Multi-purpose room within the top of the inverted pyramid. This is conceived as a glamorous presentation venue which unveils a panoramic view of the site when the presentation ends. In fine weather, the route continues up to the open deck viewing platform with a kinetic roof shelter which adjusts accordingly to provide shade.

Construction design
Infobox* is to be constructed out of modulated triangular timber structural units. Every module would fit on the back of a standard lorry for flexibility in transportation. Upon reaching the site, they would be bolted together and hoisted in place in our designed construction sequence. The use of Glulam timber as the module ensures the sustainability of the project. Glazing will only be applied in strategic places to introduce daylight and provide views into the Infobox*. All other enclosing surfaces will be a range of opaque and translucent polycarbonate sheets.
